The Client:
An American based, multinational, with locations stretching the length and breadth of the globe, our clients are a $1.2Bn organization, employing over 5000 employees. Presently they account about 30% of their global turnover to the European market sector, and after a fresh cash injection from their board, they are now actively targeting the European sector, and plan to grow their interests in this area by around 20% in the next 2 years.
The Role:
Managing a defined customer base across 2 set geographical areas, the role will involve both new business and account management, typically the customer base includes, chain and independent builders merchants, main contractors and specialist sub-contractors. Due to the high levels of training and internal technical support, the successful individual need not necessarily be working in the construction industry (although this would be ideal), instead the applicant must arrive with at least 2 years pro-active business to business sales experience and be capable of managing a business, relatively autonomously.
